What does The Watersports Hub Offer?

The Watersports Hub offers a complete service from Beginner Lessons & Courses to advanced tuition in Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Open Water Swimming, Water Safety & Kite Surfing.

What is Stand Up Paddleboarding?

Stand Up Paddleboarding, is a water sport born from surfing with modern roots in Hawaii. Stand Up Paddleboarding is a combination of Kayaking and surfing, where you stand on board that are floating on the water using a paddle to propel yourself through the water. Located in & around Southsea, The Watersports Hub is open for Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Private Lessons, Group Sessions, SUP Tours, SUP Hire, SUP Yoga and SUP Pilates, Mindfulness & Meditation.

What is Kitesurfing?

Kite Surfing is a wind powered surface watersport using a kite and a board to move across the water. Kite surfing harnesses the power of the wind through a large parachute type kite to propel a rider across the water on a small kiteboard. The Watersports Hub offers both private and group Kite surfing Lessons from beginner taster lessons to progression, advanced and pro coaching lessons.

What if the weather conditions are not suitable for my lesson?

The Watersports Hub maintain the right to cancel bookings at any time should they deem the weather conditions unsuitable for your booking. We are not responsible for the weather, therefore refunds are not given due to weather conditions. In this instance, customers will be offered digital vouchers to the full value of the booking which can be redeemed any time in the future. If you do not arrive for your session, we will take payment on completion of your booking duration.

Are the instructors qualified?

Passionate and dedicated to our customers, our team is made up of only the highest calibre instructors & coaches, all running tuition to the British Kitesurf Association {BKSA} standards, British Stand Up Paddleboarding Association (BSUPA) and Swim Teachers Association (STA).

Where are the lessons located?

Just a short drive from London, Southsea offers a variety of conditions to suit our sports. The majority of our lessons take place off Eastney Beach, however we have alternative locations. The Watersports Hub currently operates as a mobile hub, enabling an adaptable service offering for the conditions required for our sports. The location of your lesson will be specified on your booking.
